Kevin Pearson established Davenports City Law in December 2000 with the intention to provide clients with specialised commercial, property, business and immigration advice. Davenports City Law evolved from the firm Davenports, which had its beginnings in the early 1920’s.
We are committed to being client-focussed and providing a value added service by working in partnership with our clients. Other than in Employment and Family Property matters and some minor civil litigation, we have made the conscious decision generally not to provide advice or representation in litigation areas. However, we do regularly brief leading Barristers for our clients and can ensure any such matters are handled by suitable practitioners as required.
Our clients include property developers, a large number of company clients involved in diverse activities including finance, manufacturing, farming, private child care, golf courses, retail, human resources, high tech and so on and so forth. We also act for a number of high net worth individuals including some overseas clients, but most of our clients are just normal kiwis.
