Principal

Kevin Pearson is the Principal of the firm and obtained his Law degree and Post Graduate qualifications from Otago University. After initially working in Dunedin and then London, he has practised commercial and property law in Auckland since 1983. Kevin’s area of legal practice involves advising businesses and private clients on a broad range of commercial and property matters such as completion of due diligence, setting up structures, organising project financing, drafting commercial contracts in simple language and asset planning including Trusts.

Geraldine Whiteford (B.A (Hons), LL.B (Hons))

Solicitor

Geraldine is originally from South Otago but is now a keen Aucklander. She completed her law degree at the University of Auckland as a mature student after a career in social and community work and working at the Human Rights Commission. Geraldine specialises in dispute resolution and litigation including civil, family, relationship property, employment, elder law and not-for-profit organisations. If required, she deals with property sales and purchases, wills and related areas.

Carol Case (Registered Legal Executive NZILE)

Legal Executive

Carol is originally from Durban, South Africa and settled in New Zealand in 2003.  Carol has worked at Davenports City Law since shortly after arriving in New Zealand and deals primarily with property related transactions including sales and purchases, bank lending, loan repayments, mortgage refinancing, subdivisions, crosslease matters and Property Sharing Agreements.  She also works with Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorneys.
